All personal data within Dinsar’s records are properly safeguarded against accidental or intentional misuse, destruction, loss, unauthorized modification, or access.

The Data Controller has implemented appropriate technical, personnel, and organizational security measures necessary to protect personal data from accidental loss or destruction, unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or misuse, and has required all personnel involved in data processing to sign confidentiality agreements.

Users of www.dinsar.hr have the right to obtain information regarding the collection and processing of their personal data from the Data Controller. Within 30 days of receiving a written request, the Data Controller shall provide each user (or their legal representative/attorney) with:

Regardless of a user’s request, if the Data Controller determines that any personal data are incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated, they shall correct or update them on their own initiative.

The Data Controller must notify the data subject and all recipients of the data about any corrections, amendments, or deletions within 30 days.

COOKIES

USER PRIVACY

In accordance with European Union law, we inform users that this website uses cookies to ensure the highest quality of service.

Cookies in the user’s browser enable us to ensure the operation of all portal functions, tailor certain content specifically to individual users, and continuously improve the portal through analytics.

Users can configure how cookies are stored in their browser settings. To improve the browsing experience, we need to store a small amount of information (cookies) on the user’s device. Over 90% of all websites use this practice, but under EU regulations effective March 25, 2011, we are required to obtain user consent before storing cookies. By using this website, the user consents to the use of cookies. By blocking cookies, the user can still browse the site; however, some features may not be available.

WHAT IS A COOKIE?

A cookie is information stored on a user’s device by a website they visit. Cookies typically store user settings for a website, such as preferred language or address. Later, when the user reopens the same website, the browser sends back the cookies associated with that site. This enables us to display information tailored to each individual user.

Cookies can store a wide range of information, including personal information (such as a user’s name or e-mail address). However, such information is stored only if the user enables it—websites cannot access information for which the user has not granted permission, and they cannot access other files on the user’s device. The default activities of storing and sending cookies are not visible to users. Nevertheless, users can change their browser settings to choose whether to approve or reject requests to store cookies, to automatically delete stored cookies when closing the browser, and similar.

TYPES OF COOKIES

PERSISTENT COOKIES

Persistent (stored) cookies remain on the device after the browser is closed. Websites use them to store data such as login credentials, language settings, or cookie preferences so you don’t have to re-enter them during subsequent visits. Persistent cookies can remain on your computer or mobile device for days, months, or even years.

SESSION COOKIES

Session (temporary) cookies are removed from the device after the browser is closed. Websites use them to store temporary data, such as the last few pages you visited on the site or items in a shopping cart on an e-commerce site.

COOKIES BY SOURCE

FIRST-PARTY COOKIES

First-party cookies come from the website you are viewing and can be either persistent or session cookies. They allow websites to store data for reuse during your next visit.

THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

Third-party cookies come from other websites that are present on the site you are viewing (e.g., through embedded content or tags). These cookies can track internet usage on the site you are viewing for marketing purposes.

COOKIES BY FUNCTION

  • Functional cookies (can be disabled): Enable enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not enable these cookies, some features may not function properly.

  • Marketing cookies (can be disabled): Allow us to record visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our website. They help us know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore remains anonymous. If you do not enable these cookies, we will not know when you visited our site and will be unable to monitor its performance. They do not directly store personal preferences but are based on a unique identification of your browser and internet device. If you do not enable these cookies, you will encounter less targeted advertising.
