THT – ECO-SOLVENT PRINTING
This technology is used to create heat transfers by printing onto a white or transparent film that serves as the transfer medium. The transfer is produced using CMYK inks and, after printing, is cut to the desired shape. Once briefly dried, it is ready for heat pressing, where it is transferred onto a textile surface under specific pressure and temperature conditions.
The design preparation is created in one of the graphic design programs (such as CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator). In addition to defining colors and motif size, a cut line is added. The final design is then imported into the printer software, where the quantity of motifs and print type are set (depending on the intended substrate). Printing then begins. After printing, the plotter precisely cuts along the cut line. Finally, any excess film is manually removed using a special needle, leaving the finished heat transfer ready for application.
Eco-solvent printers use special inks that deliver excellent image quality and vibrant colors while remaining environmentally friendly.
At Dinsar, we use original Eco-Sol inks with our Roland SP-300i printer, ensuring top-quality and sustainable printing results.
